For my degree I have participated in both Graphic design and Digital Illustration courses providing me with a wide scope within the digital art profession. Although through trying heavy illustrative techniques I prefer creating a mixture of both graphic design and illustration as a whole.
I have worked as an in-house Graphic Designer for Welsh Country Magazine. This allowed me to gain experience in layout design and working within a team to create an end product. As well as designing the magazine I was also responsible for maintaining and building company websites developing my skillset with WordPress web design.
I now work at Pro Print Wales as a Graphic Designer where I am responsible for dealing with customer enquiries and designing work to their needs in a quick turnaround. I have gained experience of the print process, an in-depth knowledge of InDesign, prioritising my workloads and meetings, and seeing a project through from start to finish with a client.
